What is Shockwave Therapy?
Shockwave therapy uses high-intensity sound waves to stimulate healing, and it’s both effective and non-invasive. Despite the name, there is no actual "shock" involved—it’s a gentle process. The focused sound waves encourage the horse’s body to release growth factors, increase blood flow to the affected area, and reduce pain, all without causing discomfort to the patient.

One of the significant benefits of shockwave therapy is that it enhances the quality of the healing process. Injuries often heal but may not return to their original strength, especially in tendons and ligaments. Shockwave therapy promotes better blood flow and tissue regeneration, reducing the formation of scar tissue and the likelihood of re-injury.
